CLC 12- 02 Blog post Three universities I am Interested in Going and Why
Now I am
writing another blog poster for my School Career Life Connection course. I will
be introducing my top 3 interesting universities.
No.1
University of Waterloo
I am always in the obsession with STEM subjects and I am in constant tempting of curiosity and need of exploring. The University of Waterloo has very prestigious engineering and mathematics programs in Canada and their graduates can easily enjoy the good reputations of the university. I also assume Waterloo can provide a generally good environment for studying and assiduousness which is what I expect from a university. I am also in favor of Ontario for which accidentally has a moderate temperature and weather for me. Ontario has an acceptable demographic composition and the Asian population percentage is below 10%. As an International Student, I want the city I live in to different from my hometown.

No.2
University of Alberta
Alberta is a place with extreme weather. I heard about the outrageous temperature in Alberta from previous graduates all the time. On the other hand, Alberta provides basic free medical care to all residents. Also, the scholarship of UofA is relatively more accessible to the applicants. That’s also many former students of BCOS I know are in UofA so I can go through my first university year relatively more easily.

No.3
University of McGill
McGill is a special one on my list. I am interested in the province of Quebec for its exotic cultural surroundings. From my general impression, a French former colony could contain everything France fancies, that includes fashion, cuisine, art, and architecture. I believe to be studying in a university with a home city like Montreal would be a great experience. I also fancy McGill for their brief in the application, to apply for McGill, relative fewer paperwork and forms would be required and a good grade would be critical. McGill is also a generally prestigious school in Canada but it’s relatively smaller than UBC of UofT. They are also offering good mathematics programs.
